After the Second Vatican Council, the Church marked the passage from an ecclesiology
modelled on Canon Law to a Canon Law conforming to ecclesiology. Accordingly, Pope Francis
has on various occasions amended the Code of Canon Law to make it more perfect to better
serve the Church’s mission and the daily lives of the faithful.
This book traces the intent and result of some modifications shedding light on different themes
