₹150.00
James Philipps
Your money or your life is a choice well worth thinking about, especially in a culture that encourages us to measure our worth by how much we have or earn.
These meditations, all based on Scripture, invite us to think deeply and prayerfully about the connection between God and wealth, and how the money choices we make can lead us towards or away from the life God wants for us. No matter what our income, wrestling with “Your money or your life” is important for us all.

Description
Jack Benny was a comedian in the mid-twentieth century. Much of his comedy was rooted in the running gag that he was very stingy with his money. In one sketch, a mugger approaches Jack Benny, gun drawn and says, “Your money or your life!” A pause ensues. “Well?” the would-be thief demands.” I’m thinking”, Benny replies. The Church, in a way, agrees with Jack. Your money or your life is a choice well worth thinking about, especially in a culture that encourages us to measure our worth by how much we have or earn.
